Terms of Use
Updated: August 11, 2026
These Terms govern the use of the witu.life and witu.health websites. The WitU mobile app has its own terms of use, published on this site at /app-terms.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
2. Medical disclaimer
WitU is not a medical device and does not replace advice from a doctor.
- Every metric is informational.
- Recovery, HRV, VO₂max, and heart-rate zones are indicative estimates, not a diagnosis.
- The WitU band and ring are consumer devices, not medical instruments.
- Our recommendations do not take your individual contraindications into account.
- Do not use the devices or the app in an acute medical condition.
3. Before you start training
Do not put off seeing a doctor because of what the device or the app shows you. Take any health problem to a professional.
Consult a doctor before you begin a training program — in particular if you have heart or vascular disease, high blood pressure, an arrhythmia, or diabetes, if you have a pacemaker, if you are pregnant, or if you are over 65.
4. Orders and payment
The site requires no registration: you place an order without creating an account.
Payment is made by QR code through the Faster Payments System (SBP). You enter your card details in your own bank's app; they never reach us.
There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges — every payment is one-off.
Sale terms and the return window and procedure are set out in separate documents: the Terms of Sale and the Return Policy.
5. Intellectual property
The site, its design, logos, images, and text belong to WitU. Copying them without written permission is prohibited.
Engraving text and any other content you create when placing an order remains yours. You confirm that it infringes no third-party rights, and you grant us the right to use it to the extent needed to produce your order.
6. Prohibited use
You must not:
- Use the site for unlawful purposes.
- Interfere with its operation, circumvent technical restrictions, or scrape it without our consent.
- Use WitU devices as a medical instrument to diagnose or treat anything.
7. Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that biometric readings are exact, that the service will run without interruption, or that the products are fit for your particular purposes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injuries sustained while training, for decisions taken on the basis of device or app readings, or for indirect losses.
Nothing in this section limits the consumer rights granted to you by the mandatory law of your country of residence, including the Law of the Russian Federation “On Protection of Consumer Rights”.
8. Changes to these terms
We may change these Terms. We post notice of any material change on the site at least 30 days before it takes effect.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION]. Disputes are resolved in [DISPUTE FORUM].
Consumers keep the mandatory rights granted to them by the law of their country of residence, and the right to bring a claim in the courts where they live where the law provides for it.
